09/12/07 I've just built a new website and the server issues have been sorted. We are hoping to record with the real drums soon, looks like it's gonna be around xmas/new year time. We have some cool gigs coming up in 2008.

22/10/07 Podcast Dalecast has played our new song Another Place

21/10/07 We recorded an acoustic mini album today and it will be available to buy on-line and at gigs very soon. Songs include If You Only, Snuggle Up, Reggae Blues and previously unreleased acoustic stomp "1659". The album will be called The Moot Live and Unplugged and will cost £4 at gigs and £5 on-line incl p&p.

10/10/07 Survivor Fans Podcast has played our song Snuggle Up

27/09/07 UNIT 7 Studios in Scotland is where we are recording our first album in November. The album will be available to buy on-line and at gigs. The album is being sponsored by Huey Dowling from Unit 7 Studios and Distilled Records.

31/07/07 We came third @ the Battle Of The Bands at the Rock Club, Gardening Club, Covent Garden, London on the 21st of July. We won 365 bottles of FREEDOM BEER and had a great time! The 365 bottles of Freedom Beer have all gone and everyone enjoyed the hangover free quality lager. Thanks to Freedom Beer! If anyone wants to sample any of their tasty quality lager it can be bought direct from the FREEDOM BEER website.

17/07/07 We won the semi-final battle of the bands @ the Gardening Club, Rock Garden, on Sunday 15th July and are through to the final on Sunday 22nd of July! Entry is £5 before 7pm and time TBC.

02/07/07 Dangerous has been played on podcasts PC Podcast and Digital Flotsam

18/06/07 Despite all odds we got to and won the quarter final of the battle of bands competition @ the Rock Garden, Gardening Club in Covent Garden and are through to the semis in a couple of weeks! Details tbc.

14/06/07 We are very excited about playing our first gig in London @ The Rock Garden, Gardening Club in Covent Garden this Sunday! We also have an outdoor gig in Huddersfield @ Greenhead Park on Saturday which will be broadcast on Home FM and we are playing in Sheffield on Friday 13th of July @ The Runaway Girl

26/03/07 We are moving to London at the end of May to record our first single with top producer Corin Giles. We also plan to play lots of gigs in and around London.

17/03/07 Leeds Music Scene have reviewed our demo! We have recorded some more demos (E-Funk, CCTV, and Friend) and written some new material (When You and Starry). We also have some cool dates lined up.

26/02/07 The Moot have had some very positive reviews written about their demos by Sandman Magazine and Glasswerk

07/12/06 Ice skate to The Moot! The Moot are playing a 2 hour gig at the ice rink in Huddersfield town centre on Sat 16th Dec at 5pm.

27/11/06 The Moot played last night on the BBC Raw Talent Show. Here is a link to a replay of the show. We played Seagulls and Snuggle up in the acoustic lounge at the end of the show.

24/11/06 " Manic Man " released a few days ago at myspace and now here.

17/11/06 More new songs! "Hide" and "Hindsight" are available at myspace. There are also plans to record a Moot gig in early December.

23/10/06 The Moot are being interviewed and playing a few acoustic songs live on the BBC's Raw Talent show on Sunday November 26th @ 9pm.

25/09/06 The Moot's song "Snuggle Up" was played on BBC's Raw Talent show on Sunday 24th Sep 2006.

27/08/06 The chazza gig @ Bar Amour on Sat 26th Aug was a real success. Altogether we raised £311.47 for the Terrance Higgins Trust. Thanks to all that played and helped out at the event and a big thanks to everyone who attended. Bands that played: Bongo Chilli & Dan Man, Far From The Dance, If I Were King, The Kenst, The Cut, Realeyez, White Light Parade, Josh, G Collective, The Moot, Rosco, Sunken Sky
